Product Overview
When an Epson inkjet printer has a problem like a printhead circuit or a power failure or if it prints nothing, the printhead driver IC on the main logic board usually gets damaged. The output drive transistors, like A2222 / C6144 or A2098 / C5888, are also often damaged. Changing the broken IC fixes the communication between the processor and the piezo printhead parts.

You need hot‑air soldering skills and liquid rosin or gel flux to align the leads cleanly across all 24 surface‑mount pads.
