Installation Instructions

a、Hold the mounting plate against the selected installation position on the ceiling, and mark the center of the holes with a pencil. Drill a hole through the pencil marks and use the enclosed screws and anchors to secure the mounting plate.

b、Install the AA batteries according to polarity markings.

c、Insert the hook of the mounting plate to the slot of the alarm, the positioning column should also align with the positioning groove. Rotate the alarm clockwise until it snaps into place.

Link network related issues：

1.Please download the software "Tuya Smart" from the Google Play Store or App Store for the networking APP.

2.The WIFI router must be 2.4G network to connect to the APP.

3.Press the TEST button 2 times in a row and the LED (green) will flash, prompting you to enter the network configuration mode. Network configuration must be completed within 2 minutes. If the network is not successfully configured, please press the TEST button again. If the network configuration is completed, the APP displays this alarm.

4.After the successful completion of the network, when the local fire detection alarm occurs, the alarm information will be uploaded to the APP via WiFi. If the customer purchases a telephone or SMS service, the information can be directly sent to the customer by calling or sending a message after the alarm is triggered.

5.The battery level information on the APP is updated every 24 hours. The battery level is displayed as "Medium / igh / Low". If the battery level is "low", please replace the battery as soon as possible.

Access to the APP allows users to view history and settings.

Testing

Press the TEST button and the product will enter alarm mode. It will make beeps that are louder than 86dB. The alarm indicator (red) will flash. The APP will receive a message of testing, too.

Standby condition

In standby condition, the smoke alarm detects every 10 seconds. The alarm indicator flashes every 344 seconds to indicate that the smoke alarm is operating properly. When it senses products of combustion, the alarm sounds. And the alarm indicator (red) flashes at the same time, until the air is clear. The APP will receive a message of alarming, too.

Silence mode (Low sensitivity)

When it’s in normal working condition, press and hold the TEST/HUSH button for 0.5 second, and the product will enter silence mode. That will last for about 9 minutes. Pressing the TEST/HUSH button again will also end the silence mode.

Alarm history

When the alarm indicator (green) flashes 3 times every 43 seconds, that means alarm has been made before. Please check if there is fire risk in detecting area. This indication will end 24 hours later.

Smoke chamber degeneration warning

The working environment and time will cause the degeneration of smoke chamber. When the product makes 3 short beeps every 43 seconds, it indicates end-of-unit-life. You should replace the smoke alarm with a new one.
